Lovely historic square

Lots of bars, restaurants and thing to do here definitely a great find as are the quirky streets off it. Some bars close early through the week

Amazing point to know, look to the antique constructions, walk around and take snacks, drinks and pray in the churchs around it. By nigth there is a magic atmosfere and it is a oportunity to see the Guimarães brithe.

Probably the most picturesque part of the historic area, though the side street have many great shots too. HOOL a very good restaurant is on this same square in the Hotel d'Oliveiera.

We were there at the lunch time, and the Largo was full of tables and people around. It's very nice place.

A nice place to stop and rest a bit after discovering the town. A lot of places to eat or just have a drink.

We enjoyed eating lunch and having a drink on the square. We had an opportunity to speak to a lovely couple from northern Spain who gave us some suggestions on what to see and do. It was a relaxing hour or so before we checked out more sights.

The cobblestone square, with a Medieval Church and buildings of the period, also offers at least a half a dozen outdoor restaurants were you could get tapas, full meals, or just a drink. It’s a great opportunity to slow down, enjoy those you are with, sit back and people watch.

A nice square to walk around with little shops to visit, followed by a nice coffee and cake or a refreshing glass of vino verde!

Following a tour of the castle many of the women in our group wanted to shop. A number of us decided to have a local beer and watch the world go by. On a sunny day this is a great place to sit and watch the tourists. Stone streets can lead to stumbles. No pan handlers to worry about. Shops... More

Beautiful architecture! A lot of restaurants and cafes. Plenty of locals and tourists. Great food and wine. Good service. Worth to visit!
