I heard about Plano B from various friends, I was in a trip to Portugal for tourism, I went to a weekend and I visited Plano B but unfortunately the bouncer didn't not let us in saying that we need to be on a guest list, unfortunately for the bouncer and while I was standing someone asked me how can he go in, my answer was that u need to be on guest list, and while I was speaking with the bouncer this same guy enter without having a guest list. Inappropriate service and discrimination for me and my wife.

This bar has dreadful reviews on TripAdvisor but we loved it! We had some great cocktails which were 2-4-1 and then headed downstairs to the dancefloor which is massive! This place is quirky and grungy but we loved it. Great music and great atmosphere!

Interesting bar and the techno room was good but it did not feel safe and I would not go back. The drinks were fairly priced but it is a sketchy place.

Let me start off by saying, if you think you can get away with throwing a beer in the bouncer's face at Plano B – you'd be wrong That is unless, you are powerful, fast and incredibly street wise – then you might just get away with a few scratches & bruises, a swollen ego and a decent story to tell your pals. After being rudely denied entry for no reason I considered that perhaps the bouncer was dehydrated and taking it out on us. After many failed attempts at getting entry - it was time for Plan B. Noticing a half-beer on the floor I opted to “refresh” the bouncer and make a quick run for it. Surprisingly, him and his two fat cronies couldn’t keep up with me and they eventually gave up the chase...I thought it was over. 30 minutes later and several miles from Plano B, I was walking back home until I noticed a familiar face several yards in front of me – it was one of the cronies. They had found me. Next, the main bouncer jumped out of a car and they both began chasing me. More dangerously, crony #2 was waiting in ambush behind me – the narrow street meant I had no choice but to get past him. Using pure speed, agility and power I got past crony #2, who really let himself & his team down. I then ended up then going to a bar and waiting out the night with some beautiful Portuguese ladies who loved my story. My message to the bouncer & his cronies: I would apologise for throwing a drink in your face, but after reading these other reviews I think you had it coming. Also, the fact three of you (sober) couldn’t catch me (drunk) after trying so hard is just embarrassing. I suggest you lay off the steroids & custard tarts, and work on your 50-yard sprint and tackling if you ever want to stand a chance of catching such a fine English specimen. Better luck next time chaps
