Tickets are inexpensive and you have to join a tour in your particular language. Its easy enough to buy tickets. There was a person in a wheelchair on our tour and they were catered for. Tour was 45 minutes. It was a worthwhile, informative and pleasant tour. Then we reached the last room. The Arab Room. It is worth the... More

The tour lasts about 45 minutes. Get tickets in advance. Beautiful rooms and nice connections to the port wine industry.

I was on a guided tour at Palacio da Bolsa. The Palacio featuring an impressive neoclassical façade, this striking former stock exchange was built in the 19th century. The building resembles a royal palace, particularly the ornate Arabian Hall (a replica of the Alhambra Palace in Grenada), which is used as a reception room for visiting heads of state. I... More

This over-the-top buildilng (in design and architecture) is well worth the money and 30 minute tour (only way you can visit it). It is extravagant and beautiful. Our only complaint was the guide kept mixing up dates, referring to the 1800s as the 1900s so tour became a little confusing. So go for looking, not necessarily for understanding.

Worth popping in beforehand to see when the next English tour is on. They get booked up quickly. I don't usually go for tours but this was well worth it visually, can never remember all the facts they tell you!

Someone or groups of someones! had plenty of money to build this. Very impressive building and interiors. Well worth a visit. This is a pay onentry attraction with an included, mandatory, guide who is very knowledgeable. Look at the prices as there are discounts for pensioners, students etc.

Beautiful early 20th century building. Intricate details in the ceiling and on the floors. Worth having a guide so that you really understand what you are seeing.

Tourists are wished through this big building in groups, each group for a different language, such as French, German, Spanish, English. Tour takes 30 minutes. It's quick but informative. The architectural details such as the furniture, decorations, and the craftsmanship of the room details, make this tour worthwhile.
