We were very disappointed because we only figured out that the buses pass once every hour on the "castle loop" after purchasing the ticket. One has no idea when the bus will arrive so it becomes completely impractical to "hop on hop off." The 2nd line is programmed for every half hour but again with no set schedule, so hard... More

They are more expensive than the others and they are hopeless. Earphones don't work had to get off the bus as soccer enthusiasts on the upper deck were so noisy we couldn't hear the commentary which was mainly music. Their timetable is non existent while walking and waiting for yellow buses we saw 3 red and 2 blue. We rang... More

We didn't know which bus tour we had to book amoung the red, the yelow and the blue. Finally we chose the yellow bus as cheaper on internet and it includes 2 different lines, 1 boat cruise and 1 visit at the Calem caves. The yellow buses come every 30 minutes and make you discover the city without effort.

Recommended by our hotel receptionist, we took the Euro 24 tour which offered us TWO tours - Historic Porto, and the Porto Castles. The tickets were also valid for TWO days - very good value. We could get on and off as, and when, we wished, and swap from tour to tour. Included in the tour were a 50 minute... More

We stayed in the old town and a bus stop was just across the street. The orange line was great and took us through the old city and across to Gaia. We stayed 3 days and took this the first day to get an overview of the city to know what we wanted to visit. The purple line took us... More

The buses run irregularly and infrequently and the stops are challenging to locate. The buses did not run exactly per the map route and the stops are poorly marked. We waited on average 20-30 minutes each time we found a stop before a bus arrived. Once on a bus, unless one fastidiously tracks the route on a map, there is... More

Paid 15 euros for a 2 day pass, enabling us to go on two different routes in and around Porto over a 2 day period. Hop on and foo as you please, or go round again. Each tour takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The 2 day pass also includes travel on local buses, some discount... More

This is a well-organised friendly operation that offers both one and two day tickets. They have two routes, one being round the city, whilst the second heads out north to the port city of Matosinhos - a great place to go for really fresh fish. Their buses are kept in good condition and the commentary worked well. Good value for... More
