The park is very big and it is a pleasure to walk and enjoy nature. There are many people runing or riding in bycicles. If you have some free time after visiting the city, a relaxing time on the park is a very good idea.
My wife and I had a short stop off in Porto whilst on a TUI cruiser and enjoyed the visit to the city. This is a large, wonderfully well maintain, centrally-located park, used a lot and with plenty to see and do.
We loved spending time in this park, it is very spacious, but also varied, great to walk or cycle around, with some undulations, a couple of lakes, trees and toilets which include showers.

Very nice place to picnic, go with family and dog or just jogging and release your stress. It is very nice placed, just next the beach of Matosinhos. But it is not prepared, for example, to go with skates or similar.
