Beautiful beaches, good 4 star hotel, few people which was nice, great weather. I did a lot of swimming and a couple of visits to nearby Lagos where I did a tour of the caves and coast by boat. Stunning beaches and coast. Good for snorkelling.

Not one of the more scenic beaches in Portugal but very nice boardwalks following along the beach for ling distances. We took the tourist bus to get here. Watched the surfers in January. I am sure in the summer it is a more popular destination.

The seafood de mar was mostly Hake with a lot of empty clam shells, yet the broth was fabulous. Dessert was also very good. Expensive, but the view and atmosphere make it all worth while. …

If you ever go across the sea to Portugal Then maybe at the closing of your day You will sit and watch the moonrise over Porto And see the sun go down on Praia da Luz.
