Great Stay in Praia da Luz
Beautiful beaches, good 4 star hotel, few people which was nice, great weather. I did a lot of swimming and a couple of visits to nearby Lagos where I did a tour of the caves and coast by boat. Stunning beaches and coast. Good for snorkelling.

Walk along the beach
Not one of the more scenic beaches in Portugal but very nice boardwalks following along the beach for ling distances. We took the tourist bus to get here. Watched the surfers in January. I am sure in the summer it is a more popular destination.

Mixed bag, but mostly good
We started with a mixed drink on the deck. The view was fantastic, the Bloody Mary was awful. A premix with little or no vodka added for $12E. The dining room is casual, yet beautiful. The service was prompt and professional. Started with the Grouper Cerviche. It was fantastic. Entres were good, but not great. The seafood de mar was mostly Hake with a lot of empty clam shells, yet the broth was fabulous. Dessert was also very good. Expensive, but the view and atmosphere make it all worth while. …

If you ever go across the sea to Portugal Then maybe at the closing of your day You will sit and watch the moonrise over Porto And see the sun go down on Praia da Luz.
