Hard to describe how great it feels to go for a walk over here. So relaxing. The view is speechless! And you get to enjoy genuine inhabitants of the city.

Found the park to be a perfect outdoor option for a stroll with a pram and to entertain two 6 year old children with a round of mini golf. There is a fantastic mini golf course at the edge of the park (closest to the fort). The ticket for under 13 was 1.5€ which included club and ball. I believe... More

Perfect walk and stroll, people with pets and just people sitting in their cars or watching the waves by the sea. Great place to just sit and chill and relax.

I'm wondering why the Jardim do Passeio Alegre isn't listed under TA's 'Nature & Parks', as opposed to being listed under 'Outdoor Activities', but no matter, it IS indeed a park and a very lovely park that's just across the road from the Foz. Perfect for relaxation: plenty of benches; lots of greenery and flowers; a fountain; statues; a gazebo;... More

Perfect for a slow walk along Douro to the ocean... Unfortunately, some of the parts of the park are undergoing construction so there's a lot of machines around. But, it's winter. Also, you should visit the minigolf course here, it is really fun! ;)

This route connects the historical part of the city with the sea. Walking along the riverside to the ocean is a great experience. You can choose to go by foot or take the typical tram. Both solutions are suggestive and worth it. This is the real middle-earth between Porto city center and the Atlantic Ocean.

Where you can take a walking alone or with some company. You have a mini golf club to play with some friends or family. You can also find some bars next to relax. The view and peace of this place it's incredible.

Please take the tram near Ribeira to Passeio Alegre. You won´t regreat. It´s a very beautiful place. The garden is great, and you can also play nearby mini-golf. You can watch at the same time the river, and the ocean. I don´t understand why this place has so few reviews....

This beautiful garden is half way along the Porto seafront and provides a nice break for a cool juice at the cafe when walking the length of the seafront. There is also a Crazy Golf course in the garden. You can walk, jog, skate, bike along the seafront. From this garden you can walk along the sea towards Castelo do... More
