We had a guided tour and lucked out that we were ushered in quietly at the very end of a small rehearsal ( we had a bit of pull). The building (2005) is a great example of Portuguese modern architecture and the acoustics are superb....More

Please go here, even just to gaze at the beauty of the architecture. If you can, take full advantage and attend whatever event you can here, or do the guided tour.

Brutal modernist architecture that stands out. A very effective acoustic concert hall inside. Not sure it's worth a visit without going to a concert unless you're mad on modern architecture. But, if you 're lucky enough to coordinate visiting Oporto with a concert (tickets can...More

We had a guided tour but the guide hardly spoke English! And she was on the phone several times. Supposed to last 60 minutes but toke 30 minutes. The building is interesting but the tour certainly not 10 euro worth.

A little disappointing. The only thing to see is the architecture. Inside, only if you are very lucky some spectacle can be occurring but not in may case. Other wise, nothing nice to see or do.

We have attended two performances here over our two visits to Porto. Fabulous venue, easy to get to and offers a wide range of performances from jazz to classical music.

As with anywhere, it depends on availability. We booked online to make sure we weren't disappointed. It was easy to do and we picked up the tickets on arrival.
