the facade is sober, unusual for a typical Portuguese church - no tiles story, no tiles design instead, it has a bell tower, and a fountain in front, the place is good for resting inside, a proper place to relax; the organ is nice, the...More

This is a very nice church located behind City Hall. It is definitely worth a few minutes to see the beautiful altars. It dates from the 18th century so the interior is bright and airy.

Igreja da Trindade is at Praca Trindade, I passed by the church on my way looking for a laundry shop nearby. The church was closed when I was there.

One of the more interesting churches to visit in Porto. The lighting is decent (whereas absent in many other churches). The outside of the church, however, is a disgrace: weeds growing on the roofs and gargoyles!

O Porto is famous for its magnificent churchs and "Igreja da Trindade" may be one of the most beautiful ones. It is not very old, dating from the 19th Century, but has beautiful altars and masterpieces of religious art. If I had to point out...More
