Visited here with my partner on our recent trip to Porto. Lots of interesting stuff to look at / learn and the visit is finished off with a really good boat trip which tours around different 'parts of the world'. I wish I had this interesting way of learning about the history of the Portuguese discoveries when I was in school 40 years ago! Better spend 1-2 hours inside as there is much information and the boat ride takes 20 minutes. There was no queue, so we could quietly enjoy the exhibitions. Some buttons on the exhibition displays were not working and the sound in the boat should be improved, as it is sometimes difficult to hear the recorded narrator. The entrance fee is also high. Overall we recommend the World of Discoveries to everyone.…

Museum very nice, the prepaid tickets "skip the line" took 20 minutes to exchange for real tickets. Normal ticket buyers interrupted the process and got in much quicker
