It is a bit of a walk to get here through the city's historic quarter, but luckily for me I was staying nearby anyway. Like the other miradors around the city (and there are many) the views are amazing - get here early for the sunrise or late for the sunset and you won't be disappointed.

Just 7 min walking distance from Igreja do Carmo. This walk itself is a treat which takes you through a small local neighbourhood. When you reach at Miradouro da Vitoria you find a hidden secret of sorts. The views of Porto are great, with a long balcony to find a comfortable spot to see the city, and so it does not get crowded here. The spot itself is not well maintained and neglected, surrounded by dilapidated buildings. Go there for the views only. Climbing down you reach Mercado Ferreira Borges and then reach the main riverside promenade in 10 min.

Miradouro da Vitoria will offer you one of the best panoramic views of Porto. A little bit dusty and dirty next to an abandoned building. Great for photos and just looking.

A Stunning ‘miradora’ is this! The view/scenery takes you’re breath away as you are higher than most of the roof tops looking over the city, the river, the main iron bridge and port distilleries. There are no facilities - it is a very simple area to stand where the views say it all. A spot to head for, for those most of scenic of photos!

We stumbled across this when making our way down to the riverbank. The reviews across the city, towards the bridge and over the river are great. I wouldn’t suggest walking up loads of steps to get to it, but if you are already high up then it’s definitely worth going to.
