We did some initial port wine tasting here after dinner on our first night in Porto. Service was slow but they had some nice ports to try and it is a cute store.

I visited with my sister and our two friends. We were overwhlemed by the exceptional service by well-informed staff. The variety of high quality ports here is so amazing that we went back for second tasting and we were only visiting for 3 days. Food available to accompany the port tasting was also delicious. Lets face it.. light food.. port tasting.. dark decor.. intimate tables.. and if itnis bad weather.. this is a perfect location. Cheese selection paird with the port. Shop only does the unique and small independent producers so you are sure to grey a very nice set of recommendations. Staff are multilingual.. perfectly multilingual. Delivery of port explanations in mulitple languages with sufficient sophistication and nuance in vocabulary to credibly descible products. …

The two French owners had a lot of knowledge and a friendly and funny attitude. The ambiance in the bar was cozy and the port was good. I would recommend this place!
