A place not to be missed. On the left of the church there is a lift, followed by some stairs to a viewing location 30 meters up. cost 1.5 euros. On the right had side, there is another lift which takes you up 60 meters....More

I was amazed at this wonderful modern (1908) building and the terrific modern art inside the Church. Nearby is a restaurant and another inside the Pousada. There are walks in the surrounding countryside. Fabulous.

A tiny basilica which is more an overgrown modern chapel, but the views from the top - and also on the drive up and down - are stunning.
