The very convenient cable car takes you up there in 15 minutes or so.
The views are stunning and deserve the trip.
You should stay at least half hour to enjoy the 360° landscape.

We took the funicular railway up to the Basilica, it runs regularly from near the station to the Basilica. It was a clear day and the views were stunning. The church itself is not that special but the views from the top are so well...More
An interesting church with truly spectacular views. It's a long hike to get there so most people use the funicular railway which starts from the mountain side of the railway station.
You haven't been to Viana if you haven't seen this place.

Sorry for delay, admission is free. If you like going up to bell tower, each has separate elevator and you have to pay. It was 1 euro each. The one on the right has extra narrow steps to the top, the one on left has... More
