Amazing boat- I didn't find info on the boat while in Vila do Conde but i am interested to look into to find out about these amazing people that explored the world in these small boats!

Here you can see one, real size! Looks small, doesn't it? Sometimes you can even visit it inside; check the museum in front for tickets and timetable.

It's fascinating to wander about the entire vessel and see how little space is available for supplies, crew and officers, According to the naval person overseeing visitors, the crew complement was 120 !

It's a very nice place to visit with children. It's close to a beautiful promenade, where you can rest at the end of the afternoon.

Beautiful replic of a Portuguese Carrack, interesting visit, a must if you are passing near by! And then you can have dinner close by in one of the local restaurants.
