This is a beautiful beach, the sand is a but unusual because it is like a shell sand just a but course but not to where it will cut you walking on it. The only bad thing on this beach it the people trying to...More

We had an amazing time while at that beach, you gotta pay to use the chairs and umbrellas, I don’t know about eating because we had a taxi van to get us from there and take to the stingray city to see the stingrays, a...More
We were lucky enough to stay at a hotel (Cocos) right on Valley Church Beach. It is a beautiful stretch of beach, and the water is spectacular and usually always crystal clear. It is rarely crowded and is reasonably quiet, so great for relaxing, a...More

Hi Brenda, There will be taxis aplenty vying for your business outside the cruise terminal. My tip is to share with some other cruise passengers to get the best deal. Arrange a date with the driver for a return trip. He/she will drop you off at whichever beach you go to, and then come back to pick your up at the time yoy have arranged. Agree with the driver to pay the fare on the return journey back to the cruise port. Don't pay on the way to the beach.
Recommend that you get the taxi whilst the other passengers are deliberating. You get the pick of the sunbeds the earlier you get to the beach. It does get very busy, particularly if there is more than one cruise ship in the port.
