We went here twice and spent two hours solid in the sea before coming out. The sand is beautiful and the bay is the most amazing blue just like the Maldives. The little beach bar serves great food and cocktails. We had the beach to...More

Crystal clear, turquoise water. Great place to relax and soak up the sun. No fee to go to the beach - AWESOME! If you're visiting Antigua, please make Valley Church Beach a priority.

Did an excursion from the cruise ship here with a private taxi and some folks from our ship. Beach was clean, water was very warm, although not that clear. There were clean washrooms which you could change into your suit. The nest beach bar and...More

The water is still the stunning turquoise colour it always was, but the restaurant/beach chair area that has been added beside the parking lot is terribly ugly. There are piles of old, battered sunbeds which adds nothing to the natural beauty of hills, nature and...More

The beach itself was nice, didn't have a problem with the JetSki rental people as some others on here have stated. Did not care for people relentlessly trying to sell cheap jewelry, and massages. Have been to Antigua a few times now, would maybe try...More

Pretty beach and yes it is busy but big enough you can really spread out. Lots of shells. Water was not clear, but it wasn't clear for snorkeling anywhere in Antigua while we were there.

Snorkling could be great once the tide is suitable...by which i mean low, otherwise it can be very cloudy and unsafe.
We will be taking a taxi fro the cruiseport to the beach. Are there taxis at the beach to take us back or do we have to call for one??

generally your taxi taking you out will want to bring you back. They seem very informal but are very reliable to turn up again afterwards. There will be lots of taxis ferrying people back and forth to the cruise ships!
Hello How much was the taxi from the cruise pier? Thank you
