The trip to northern Greece was fantastic. I'd never been to Greece and was not inclined to spend much time on the beaches and was richly rewarded with diverse scenery and some challenging hiking. With the combination of guides--Dimitris as the native Greek and Brett whom I'd met 17yrs earlier in the Dolomites--we had just the right blend of hiking, some river canoeing, local artistry, and renaissance guides able to engage in conversations from the most silly to erudite. The architecture was fascinating, and I don't just mean the monasteries perched atop rock pinnacles like Dr Seuss structures. The aesthetics of each of the small hotels in which we stayed were stunning . The people were friendly and Dimitris found fantastic restaurants for us as well. As an aside several of us visited the Peloponnese after this hike. Dimitris was also of great help for lodging and restaurants there as well. PLUS he gave us his own set of recipes for his favorite Greek dishes. His helpfulness was boundless. In the fall of 2019 I would have said get there before the hordes of people beat you to this unique location. In 2020 I will simply hope that you get the chance to see this wonderful corner of the world. I cannot think of a better way for you to see it than through the eyes of people like Brett and Dimitris.

6 of us wanted to go rock climb near Athens for the day. We stumbled upon Tripin. They picked up at the hotel and took us to some crags north of the city. It was awesome!!! Great guides. Great climbing. Highly recommended.

After spending a week touring Greece with Dimitris, his guidance and passion for creating an incredible experience shone through and made it a special trip for me. While visiting Naxos, Santorini, and Athens, he was able to unravel the history of Greek culture and relate it to the sights I saw and food we ate. On top of the technical knowledge, Dimitris is a genuine and fun person to be around, and I am looking forward to taking another trip with him in the future.

I travelled to Greece in September of this year with Tripin and I had the opportunity to experience Greece authentically thanks to our guide, Dimitris, to his passion and his knowledge of history and Greek culture. He is also very kind and caring, and he has a good sense of humour. We went to Meteora and the enchanting Zagori , where the time seems to have stopped, but, besides all the beautiful places we visited, one of the things I appreciated most was the chance to meet the local people and to interact with them so that we experienced their everyday life. Everything was perfectly organized. Excellent the choice of the accomodations in authentic village buildings, and the food was absolutely great. I can't thank Dimitris enough for making the trip unforgettable and I will surely join again Tripin in their next adventures.
