We had a sunshine filled day when we toured the Parthenon and could see for miles. The structure was amazing and what is associated with Athens, and we were there in person! Such history in this city.

Even with ongoing construction to fortify the structure, it is quite magnificent. It is well worth the walk up the hill. The 20 euro charge is reasonable given all that you'll see as part of the Acropolis ticket.

Amazing. Completely agree with advice. We were there a little later than we wanted and it was busy. Don’t let this put you off though.

The Parthenon was exactly what I expected and had been waiting a lifetime to visit. To fully appreciate it, take time to imagine what it was like when fully in place and functional.

Was excellent coming here in the winter as the site was not overcrowded, and we managed to get lots of stunning photos as well as actually see the sights without being bombarded by people!

Something I've admired since I was a child and to see the Parthenon in person was amazing. Not a place for those with mobility issues.

It’s a must visit site in Athens and is advertised everywhere. I have to say i wasn’t too impressed. We weren’t given a guide, not even an audio guide , which could have enhanced the experience.

€20 or €30 for a combined ticket, where you can also visit Hadrian’s Library, Temple of Olympian Zeus, The Ancient Agora of Athens and a couple more. Hope this helps.
