Love going to the Parthenon. So much work being done to restore it. The government there has been replacing the old broken marble with new marble. Instead of using a similar colour they are using a white one. It can be seen to delineate from the original to the repaired. I for one can't wait for the repairs to be completed & the cranes moved.

We went to the Parthenon on a Monday morning, during covid19 restrictions. Buy the 30euro ticket and enter at the entrance nearest the Acropolis metro station. That way you can explore the south slopes before going up the Acropolis to the Parthenon. There was a 1-way system, and it didn't look like you could get to the southern slopes after the Parthenon. It wasn't too busy, but you needed to wear a mask.

We climbed the Acropolis and visited the sights atop. Sunny day and you could see what seemed like the entire city.
