Found it by chance in front of Parliament building. 5€ per person for around 1.5h driving around the center touristic objectives with some minimal commentaries in EN. It was a good choice for baby also. It's kinda windy but still fine so hat is recommended for little one. There is place in the mini train for the baby stroller. Also... More

The train was nice to ride and get a good feel for where things are located. The guide speaks in Greek then English so sometimes it's hard to know what to look at until it's too late. Pictures are nearly impossible with the traffic and how quickly the train is moving. Our guide literally had no inflection in her speech... More

Myself and a friend took one of the land trains - there is more than one operator - on our last day in Athens in late July. Cost = €6pp. Pros: -Three carriages - we sat in the last carriage. -Narrow/small vehicle means it can access narrow back streets out of bounds to buses. -One hour tour of the old... More

Not partticularly cheap, but you do get to see a fair amount of the sites of downtown Athens. However, it can be a pretty bumpy ride for those with any sort of back complaint. Bit embarrassing too... but trying to get normal people to wave back (in strange amazement) can be fun when you are grown-up.

We didn't enjoy it. Train was in bad condition...felt sick from inhaling too much exhaust. Train took same route back instead of a different one. Not recommended...u can't even take pictures on the way

Train started 45 minutes later . We arrived 9am to escape the heat so had to wait a little . I advise to do it when you first arrive in Athens to give you a taste of what to cover -Nice activity & good easy way to scan the spots ! Attached are photos of sights you see . The... More

A comfortable, inexpensive way to see a few extra sights. Someone called out the name of the place that we were passing if it was on the Happy Train list of places to see. It would have been a bonus if she had told us a bit about the sight and maybe even told us about other things that we... More

Very inexpensive way of seeing Athens after a long day touring the sights on foot. Lasts about an hour and visits everywhere you need to see.

We decided to take this train on our first day in Athens after an exhausting trip there. Other reviewers are correct in that it's not a luxury train, and the audio tour is essentially a two-sentence description of the sites you pass by. It did stop at the Acropolis but nowhere else, in case that helps. It was a nice... More

I do not understand why everyone trying to rate them low. Its just a little train 5 euro return. Metro from airport to city cost me 10 euro one way and had to stand with my luggage. Were you expecting a 5 star service on a funny train!!!!! They quality of service and everything has gone down and its visible... More
