The Temple of Athena Nike is a unique little structure porched on the steep bastion in the south west corner, to the right of the Propylaea (entrance) of the Acropolis. Take your time to find it and spend a little time just looking at how perfectly it's designed and constructed----this is not the imitation of anything, but an expression of a culture's very sense of self. It's beautiful and authentic, in a spectacular setting. What more could you ask?

As part of an Acropolis tour you wont want to miss this. It was beautiful and is right in that area.We used guide books rather than a guide and did just fine.

Words cannot capture the beautiful and extraordinary Temple of Athena Nike. It was one of the most enjoyable sites in Athens on the Acropolis Hill.

Once you enter the Acropolis, it is on your right hand side. It is a small temple but looks very beautiful indeed!

This temple is on the Acropolis right next to the Parthenon. It is dedicated to the God Nike who is the God of Victory in Greek Mythology.

The sunset views are great. The crowds are a little heavy to easily take photos, but with some patients they are available.
