Small museum inside the Ancient Agora of Athens. The building that house the museum is beautifully preserved.

Although after visiting the National Archaeological Museum, it didn't make that much of an impression, when you visit the Ancient Agora, it is the place to step into.

Good museum to visit, especially if you want to understand how Democracy used to work in ancient Athens.

A nice historical place , a must to visit during your trip , it's not big , so you would finish it in 20- 30 min , you need to get tickets at the entrance, also it's better to be there at morning time to enjoy the surrounding area with its open green space. It close at 3 pm ,... More

I'd like to start by saying that I am not a museum person. I'd prefer to be climbing hills and rowing boats. This museum was an interesting exhibit through time. Its a very long, narrow building. Starting from the entry on the right, artifacts get increasingly older as you walk through it. The grounds surrounding the building had some cool... More

Artefacts on show from the third millenia BC! Quite impressive, albeit a small museum. Great array of sculptures outside

The building itself is very impressive and the museum is also very nice. A visit to ancient Agora(forum) is a must, to see this building and other ruins plus the Temple of Ifestos ,the ticket is very cheap and it is really worth to spend time in this site....don't miss it ...
