This new museum by the Benaki family at the periphery of Athens is as a museum building quiet boring, from outside and inside. It is a lost chance to attract people to this area.

Excellent place: interesting architecture, great contemporary art exhibitions. The museum shop is also great for gifts. This is a special place to visit for getting a taste of contemporary Greece. Not far from the city centre, best way to go is a short taxi ride.
I have been here a few times and most recently to the guided (by the artist himself) Borokos exhibition (which was fabulous by the way and should not be missed if possible) and feel this is the perfect space to exhibit art or photography. You...More
