Shout out to unknown taxi driver based at Piraeus who was good enough to go out of his way to bring us a piece of luggage we had forgotten in his taxi on a trip from port to Athens city.

The Port of Piraeus is not what I expected. It's huge, there are lots of places to visit, lots of ferries but it definitely lacks the restaurants and cafes. There are mostly commercial restauarant with burgers etc instead of Greek cuisine. We were walking for...More

Verry easy to reach by public transport, good services inside the terminal, friendly staff at ticketing offices and assisting the boarding, clean area.

Cars parked illegally everywhere and chaotic. Good markets and access to most islands in Greece from this port, but the construction of a new tram is creating havoc.

Not much to see apart from very run down buildings. It’s not anywhere you would want to spend time but just passing through. The only thing of beauty was the stunning church. Good access to Athens for plenty of tours

This is a busy port, and it is great to have a wander round viewing the ferries and larger ships. The place is a hive of activity and there is always something new to see. There are plenty of hop-on-hop off buses to and from...More
