The Delphi Archaelogical Museum was a great way to end the day after exploring the ruins. The museum is very small and can be completed in a short space of time. Unfortunately the gift store was closed during our visit. Highly recommended for anyone interested...More

The tour was insightful even though we had to rush in the interest of time. If you plan to visit pack for a hike ..comfortable clothes, footwear and water.

We arrived from Athens Loission Terminal B coach station. The journey time was aprox 3 hours and cost us 65.60€ return (2 people). It is advisable to pre-book these seats as they sell out quickly, especially the first 07:30am coach. After checking in into the...More

Visiting the museum, especially with a guide, helps to understand what you see at the site itself. It contains many artifacts such as plates, vases, statues and old photos.

This museum has quite a few nice pieces (especially for a small museum) including much material from the archaic period. I enjoyed particularly some 6th and 7th century helmets and geometric period horse figures. There is also a very nice charioteer piece

Well-organized, many artifacts and a lot of explanations. In particular, spend some time with the interactive model.

Very nicely done. The museum is new since the 20+ years since our last visit to the area. We really enjoyed the informative arrangements and the descriptions. It helped to explain what we had seen in the architectural areas.

This museum and site is fabulous and the collection of artifacts extraordinary. A totally worthwhile and necessary visit - Delphi was one of the most important temple sites in the ancient world, for a good reason!
