Excellent location. We went in August and cooled off under the plane trees and the spring of Kifissos that gushed cold water from under the mountain.
Directly above is the base of the ancient temple dedicated to the god Apollo.
Next to it are the pipelines from the well that carry water from the underground source to the village of Polydroso.
And beyond there are the ruins of the Byzantine Church of Agia Eleusa (Panagia Mavromandila), which was built with materials from the ancient temple of Apollo.

All of the Byzantine remains speak the language that we all understand - the language of beauty. Elegant, refined and stunning.

This is a very special place close to Eva Sikelianos association. The history of Dephi and the church is something that needs your attention.
