Nice place for some time around. Fortress is definetely the best thing to see but the whole harbour is really interesting. Just be aware at too hot and sunny days.

Great place to take pictures, good stop when visiting Heraklion in Crete. Sometimes can get busy due to tourists arriving from the cruises in the port.

Started walking towards the fortress but the spectacular frashing waves distracted us! Great fun and amazing pictures! Stay farther from shore when there are big waves as you will get wet!

A picturesque location where you can enjoy the views over the harbour and read about the venetian history. It doesn't take too long to visit and if you have the time it is worth a visit.
