All dishes are made of genuine, fresh Cretan products such as olive oil, vegetables, cheese, meat, etc. The course aims to show clear and simple ways of how to prepare and cook Cretan style dishes and are aiming to those interested in Cretan cuisine or to just cooking lovers. A great evening out seeing how to make some traditional Greek starters, followed by an excellent meal with wine cooked by Maria and served under the trees at the village square. This is not a typical tourist event: sit on a bus for three hours going round hotels picking up other tourists, spend a hour getting a Disney local experience with all the individual attention of a sausage factory, then spend three hours on the bus dropping people back at their hotels. It's hard to put into words how much fun my wife and I had at the Cretan Cooking class we took while staying in Rethymnon. The lessons are given in a suburb of Rethymno. You'll will learn how to make starters, main dishes and dessert and afterwards we eat all the food that was prepared.
