It is an old traditional house with all its equipment. It is nice to see it. there are ladies more than willing to show you around and explain you how people used to live in the island before tourism.

We walked from Hora to Ano Meria to find the museum and though it was not open, a local man gave us a tour and in spite of no common language, we understood almost everything he explained. He was lovely. Worth a stop

The museum is located in Ano Meria. This summer it is open from 17:00-20:00. The museum opening hours can be found next to the bus timetables at Karavostasis and Chora. To get to the museum you can take the bus from Chora to Ano Meria....More
