The surprise of this little curch was the amazing interior. See the photos - the real thing was way better. Ano Mera is a small village in the interior of Mykonos. This is one of the positive things about purchasing a tour. We would have...More

Only 1.80 euro on the bus from Old Port (bus's only every 2hrs, so make sure you know return time, because you will only need 2 hrs there). Excellent handmade, gift shop, and a handful of 'cheaper' than Mykonos restaurants. Not sure if you can...More

Right about now I'm asking myself why did I willingly signup for a tour to yet another church/cathedral/monastery. Oh yeh, now I remember my wife wanted to go....,😜 It's a pretty typical Greek Orthodox Church. View from the hilltop area is nice and the stop...More

It is best to visit the monastery during visiting hours in the afternoon 3:30 - 7:30 pm and lite a candle. Mandonna Tourliani is quite famous for many miracles.

A beautiful monastery, not very big, try and visit when there are no coach tours. The collection of silver is stunning, as are the religious artefacts. When you come out of the monastery courtyard, turn left up the hill and check out the well kept...More

This was on our excursion from the boat. Quite a let down. Nothing much at all to see. Some good photo ops but overall skip it if you have other stuff to do.

Taken back by centuries to the old Monastery. Today only has one monk. It has been an orphanage for years. The Church itself steeped in History. Beautiful collection of old pieces of furniture dating back hundreds of years. It had the relic of Our Lady...More
