This is a good compromise, if you want to reach easily by car a decent beach from your Pigadia hotel, with sunbeds and umbrellas. You'll find people, yes but average crowd.

The beach itself is not the largest and is very rocky, but the largest value of the beach is the caves, there are at least two such one on the left side of the beach, swinging around the cliff, there is a small sandstone where...More

We loved our day at Achata beach! Wonderful water, really convenient parking and taverna. The beach is small, but it was perfectly quiet at the end of September.

This beach reminds me of a smaller version of Kira Panagia. It is a hidden gem & worth visiting. The taverna is also worth visiting for the friendly service and good food and view.

Nice beach with clear blue water. The beach is organized so you can rent sun-beds and umbrella. Also there is a taverna for lunch or for a coffee if you want. I think that is a beach that you have to visit!

Getting to this beach is only possible by car or scooter, but it is a very nice drive from Karpathos city (don't forget to turn right before Aperi, since it is difficult to turn in this mountainous village). The beach itself is pretty cool, and...More

Great little beach in peacefull surroundings. Stunning scenery all around, clear blue sea but does get out of your depth after a few paces. Bit of a windy windey drive down but well worth it. Ample parking.
