One of the best beaches on the island of Karpathos. I always look forward to visiting this beach. Crystal, clear blue sea. A very relaxing experience.

The beach is the beautiful beach in this island. Very quiet and shrouded with huge rocks. The water are so clean and blue. Thisis a great place to spend with your lady.

If you like peace and quiet, I recommend that you take the red route as in the picture on the other side of the beach, where you can enjoy naked sun and sea.

Apella/Apela beach is beautiful, it is highly recommended to go and spend at least one day there. There is a bus line, but I think only once or twice a week, so do not miss it. Additionally, the little boats also go there... More

We stayed just outside Karpatos town. I think it was counted as being in Karpathos town but the hotel wasn't like 5 minutes walk from the center. I would stay close to Karpatos town unless you really like rural settings... More
