Came alone so maybe why I didn't find it interesting. Perhaps if you have a tour guide it would be better. Nothing really left standing. There's a few restored columns and the stair cases/alcoves. That's it. Maybe half a dozen plaques explaining the original layout....More

If your going to see the Asklepion your best to visit with a tour guide who has so much information to tell you about this place. Seeing the ruins on there own is not enough without the history behind it.

Don't forget to take a bottle of water - area with ruins is really big, you need more then hour to see everything. In my opinion it's the most interesting archeological place in Kos island.

A short bus journey and a great archeological find. 2500 year old site well managed and pristine. Some facilities and vended drink help but don't rush around the stair climbs are well worth the view. All in all a good few hours amongst the ruins...More

I managed somehow to convince my girlfriend to walk from kos town to Asklepion! "I told her it would take 10 mins" 50 minutes later we arrived! Was fantastic and the view from the very top is to die for!
