We spent a relaxing 45 minutes in this impressive and educational museum. Some of the figures date back to 500 BC, truly remarkable. Take time away from the beach to see what Greece is really about. Absolutely superb. 🇬🇷

Waouh! Totally renovate. Everything is clean, weel present, and with some information. Entrance is still free for the moment. For the moment only ground floor is open, so you will need less than 1 hour to visite.

Visited July 2011. Well worth the small entrance charge. Spent a pleasant couple of hours with our two girls (then 10 and 7) who found it all really fascinating. Lovely and cool too!

If you're interested in history would recommend a visit to Kos towwn and museum. The town has some beautiful old buidings and abounds with ancient ruins which you will see when just strolling around. Would easily fill a full day or even better - visit twice! The agora is amazing and very atmospheric - just across from the ancient Plane... More

To our great annoyance we found a paper on its door stating that it was closed till further notice. Just as we found the Casa Romana after a further long, hot walk

This museum has a lot of interesting historical artifacts and some lovely marble models of famous greek people in ancient history. It only cost 3 euro to get in so is a good value for money attraction and I would highly recommend it if you are interested in history or are a budding historian.
