A nice spot, I wasn't hugely interested in the place itself but if you are interested in history I'm sure it would be very interesting. We had a nice wander round and enjoyed the lovely view out to the sea from here. We were probably only there about 30 minutes but it's a pretty spot and there's a café and... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Ancient Kamiros. Entrance was 6 Euros and we found no issues with parking at the attraction. We walked through the ruins which are over 2,000 years old and working out what is what, making our way to the top of the hill for an excellent view of Ancient Kamiros. We found believe Ancient Kamiros... More

Old Kamiros is a real ancient city on the mountain slopes of Kamiros, overlooking the Aegean Sea. Impressive side because of the sheer size of it. Not the 'usual' acropolis or single temple you might find in Greece. Really gives you an idea hoe people lived back than

We drove here in our hire car which we had for three days of our week long stay at Theologos. It really was 'just down the road', a 10 minute drive. We arrived early, before the coach loads turned up. A short walk up the hill from the car park saw us paying the 6 Euro entrance fee. Walking round... More

Evacuated following an earthquake this ancient village site is fascinating. Worth the entrance fee of €6 to preserve for the world.

Hired a car for a few days and this was the main reason. Some organised trips , but seemed quite expensive, Having said that - there are a few notice boards around, but probably a guide would have given lots more info. The site is fantastic, a whole town and temple on top of the hill. If you get a... More
