This beach is from another planet. You approach the beach from a high altitude and the view is mesmerizing. The cliffs are tall and dramatic and the water has a deep turquoise color. It might look crystal clear from a distance, but because of the limestone that surrounds the beach the water has a milky look to it. But don't... More

Myrtos Beach is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit. You will visit it if you take the island tour. The beach was featured in the film Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

One of the most beautiful beaches to visit in Kephalonia. The sea was deep and had strong currents so not the safest of beaches but definitely worth the visit with stunning views on the way

Visited a couple of times. First time we had the beach pretty much to ourselves in glorious sun. View as you descend down the road to the beach are amazing. It was grey and drizzling when we visited in Sept 16, but still beautiful. Addition of the cafe on the beach is good. Access was more difficult due to the... More

Another favorite beach of mine. But not for swimming (for me at least) but to just stare and take photos. Every advertisement you have seen is not enough. It is indeed one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! As you move closer to the beach there is a naturally formed entrance. It is actually a tree that "bends"... More

Myrtos Beach is a must to visit if you are going to Kefalonia. The views from the top of the hill on the approach is beautiful. The sea is amazing.

Great beach. We arrived early and spent the whole day there however there are no food or drink facilities so bring your picnic. Pebble beach so beach shoes recommended. Highly Recommended

This is one of the most beautiful beaches on our planet. You can swim out to sea for miles, the water is crystal clear, the beach is white pebbles and the views are breathtaking. You can hire chairs and umbrellas on the beach and there is a beach bar that serves snacks in the summer months. In the busy months,... More

My husband and I have been visiting Kefalonia and Myrtos beach for many years but this year there was a change. We arrived on the island in late May 2016 to stay just outside Sami and drove over to Myrtos beach to find it deserted. No sunbeds, no cafe but it was very early in the season. But there was... You must visit this beach at least once if you are in the area. It's truly beautiful. There are toilet facilities and a cafe for drinks and snacks with wi-fi.Visit this beach you wont forget the bay view as you first approach it from the hill tops.
