The views from the top are amazing - and the small monastery is very interesting. The route however has some spectacular views, but is twisting, winding with sheer drops and hair pin bends as it climbs.

Unfortunately although on holiday I was taken into a private hospital in Corfu for 27 hours! We were so glad that we hired a car though and were able to 'escape' to the wildness and calm of the mountain very easily after being discharged. It's...More

We visited this mountain area in early May, it was fairly quite. Roads to get to it are a little winding and narrow, take care on the drive! The views from the top are stunning. There is a little cafe where you can have refreshments...More

The road to the top of Pantokrator is an excellent example of a Corfian mountain road. It winds through some seriously scenic little villages before the final push up the side of the mountain. Steep, twisting, pitted concrete with some loose gravel just to make...More

Went on a day trip to mount pantokratorator bus goes so far. Then walk rest of the way. Excellent views. Also a church to visit and coffee shop for refreshments and meals. There is also a radio mast on top of the mountain.

While the drive was a bit long and windy, we went through some really nice and authentic villages on the way and enjoyed it. The view from the top was excellent, really quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

You can hike up the mountain from Nissaki. It's roughly 850m ascent, 12km one way, 4 hours to the top, 3 hours back. Walk is on a road, asphalt on the first halt and the final bit, unpaved gravel in the middle. Incline is rather...More

Really interesting journey up passing through quiet Greek villages and unspoilt countryside. Breathtaking views at the top. Fantastic.

Everyone talks about going up the mountain but what's it like driving down? We are going up from Ipsis. Is there a road that can take us to the North Coast from up there? Any advice?

Yes the main car route up the mountain continues to the north of the island but you won't get to the top of the mountain just in the car. I didn't hire a car so couldn't comment on the route on the north side of the mountain... More

If you want to walk the whole way, it's probably best to go from Barbati. Make sure you take a map with you because some of the paths are pretty well hidden. It took me 5 hours in total, starting and ending at ipsos beach.
