Attractive Byzantine church located in central Thessaloniki. Interior is small and ornate. Take the time to admire some of the frescoes as well as the exceptional stonework. Tropical-like, well manicured gardens lie adjacent to the church.

I'd walked past this church a dozen times and finally stopped to take a look. It is small , intimate, perhaps 50-60 chairs total, set in wonderful tiered gardens of roses, lavender and cyprus trees. A delightful haven of tranquility and easy to spend time...More

This is a very lovely church on the corner of Egnatias and Chalkeon streets, in Kerkya (Corfu) Park, just a bit further down from the Greek/Roman Agora archaeological site. It has some beautiful icons and paintings and is really worth a look. It was built,...More

Lovely Christian Orthodox Church by Platia Dikastirou in Thessaloniki in a leafy garden setting below the current street level - symmetrical with 3 rather tall arches and 3 domes. Close to Aristotelous and Egnatia St and the Roman ruins. A church with a long history...More

I like this church, but especially I love its beautiful garden. It is full of roses and so many colourful flowers. You can sit and relax there and, if you can, (I say this because sometimes, some churches are closed during a specific time of...More
