It's a great museum! Not only due to the fact that it's in a historic building, not only because of the clear and modern way that they present everything (using multimedia etc) but mostly due to the sincere way that they present some "difficult" aspects...More

The White Tower tour cost 3Euro but for this you must know how to read Greek pretty well. My knowledge is fine but I struggled with a bit of it. There is an audioguide available in at least English and other languages but I'm not...More

It was like a museum, as on every floor has a lot of exhibits. Also It had many interactive Tvs. As i climbed the floor upstairs, i arrived on the top. The view was incretible, i could see the whole city

Good thing to do, nice easy climb up with a good view up top. There is more information within the tower which we did not really look at as were there for the views and the climb. Not too many people, does not feel crowded

The "White" Tower is the landmark of Thessaloniki. Remain of the city's fortress right in the middle of the beautiful sea promenade with a very interesting museum of Byzantine times. Should visit while in city!

Same yourself €2 and go for a drink instead. To say this place is terrible is an understatement and should be avoided unless you want the driest detail of this city. Views ok from roof.

The White Tower is a nice way to start your tour around Thessaloniki. The only downside was probably that there wasn’t much translation in English. Still, beautiful and great place!!

It is not a very high tower, or an impressive fortification but it is the landmark of Thessaloniki, so you just have to visit it! Combine it with a nice stroll on the pedestrian road by the sea (just below the tower) on a sunny...More

Really enjoyed our visit to this iconic building on the waterfront. Our visit purchased as part of a great value combined ticket to other historic sites in Thessaloniki. The tower has many rooms to explore on its different floors, each filled with detailed information about...More

No, actually not recommended. You have to climb long staircase. I can’t remember them having a lift.

Non-paid parking will be a challenge. There are at least 5 with payment that I know of at a walkable distance. I would recommend closed ones at Mitropoleos st. or near the YMCA (Hanth). If you want to spend more time in the... More
