There’s pretty much nothing to write about. It’s just a pedestrian square. Nothing beautiful, nothing memorable, very crowded at all times.

we stayed at the Electra Palace which is right on the square, which is always busy and full of life, the views are amazing, looking right out onto the sea

The markets off to the side are a must walk through and experience, and great cafes to dine. Found Thessoloniki much cleaner than Athens.

Full of life, nice buildings, good to stroll but some strange guys also show up there. Good starting point for city walks.

Our hotel was here and this is very central as a starting out point to explore the city. As everywhere, graffiti and poor upkeep detract, but the lovely architecture is still to be admired.

Yes - Modiano market at top end of Aristotelous where it meets Egnatia St.
