Yes, Pyrgi is beautiful, but be warned that the men in this village do NOT know that #timesup. My daughter was subjected to near constant verbal sexual harassment when we walked through the village in the evening. And when we stopped at a cafe, a...More

It was a beautiful village with wide streets. Each house was an artwork due to their outside decorations. But I should tell it is too much of a touristic place and you must have a hat, too much and too hot sun:/

We visited in Sept on a shore excursion. Pyrgi is located inland and is well worth a visit. Built for defense, it has narrow streets and its buildings are close together. The building facades are very unique, decorated with the grey & white geometric designs...More

Lovely village in the south of Chios Island, part of the Mastic Villages established in the 14th & 15th centuries for the Mastic Trade. A beautiful village with its unique geometric designs on houses.
