The biggest Byzantine church in Balkan countries. You must visit even you are not a christian person. You can see the small finger, and a part of the cranium of St.Andreas, and 4 small pieces ox the X cross on which was martyred and died. It is about 700 meters away from the city center.

A must see Church. Very spiritual and overwhelmingly beautiful. Relics of the apostle Saint Andrew are stored in the church. They consist of the small finger, part of the top of the cranium of the Apostle, and small portions of the cross on which he was martyred, all kept in a special shrine.

A wonderful post byzantine monument which combines byzantine and clasicistic characteristics designed by the famous architect Lysandros Kaftantzogloy.

An amazing orthodox cathedral. The main wood lamp is just a masterpiece. It is the place where Saint Andrew is buried and also the remaining parts of the cross where he was crucified. Good paints and wood work. Must visit

It is definitely the most characteristic landmark of Patras city. A beautiful and grandiose Orthodox church dedicated to the patron saint of the town Apostle Andrew. For sure, a must see landmark!

A must see if you are traveling to Patras. The boys enjoyed their visit. They were so entralled with the spiritual history. They received icons and holy oil while we were there.

I was taken into this church by an old friend on Sunday morning and I will remember this place and that day as long as I am alive...

Found loads of people hanging around outside, begging! A sign of the times! The church inside was huge and covered in many icons to St Andreas!
