Elegant, cool, light building, with an attractive outdoor display. Good and clear information panels inside, giving all you need to know about the historical development of olive oil. Dignified staff. An hour well spent in Sparta

Very new and innovative idea, but lacked excitement. Trying out different olive oils or even olives might have added to the experience.

We came here in between site seeing as a small break, and were thrilled with the information we received about one of Greece's most popular exports. The history of Olives and Olive Oil dates back further than you think, and the Greeks definitely pioneered some...More

Excellently curated museum with interesting & interactive displays. It's definitely well worth a visit if you're in the Sparta area and in need of a short break from the heat.

Stopped off on route between mystas and Corinth. Children enjoyed it, great air conditioning (these things matter in July's heat) 5 euro for adults, kids go free. Well worth and hours visit for an on route stop.
