Very cool place to go check out. Very historic Not the easiest to get to by car, better have a jeep. Steep hills. Be careful.

Is the walk up to Il Kastro really difficult. I'll be ok but my husband isn't very good walking up hills.

You can drive very close to it but the walk up into the ruined village does require walking on small rocks along paths. You can get a reasonable view of it from the small car park right at the bottom of the approach.
