I feel so sad we havent visited this beach before it was taken by Russian money makers. But if you ignore the beach bar and close your eyes you can still smell the pines and enjoy the beauty of this beach and its clear see.

The banana beach is no longer exist. All the area is private, and that is really sad. It was a beach for nudebathing.

Having visited this beach four times since 2001 it’s such a shame it has now become so sanitised for the sterile elite.. e.g money grabbing and charmless. Don’t get me wrong Big Banana beach has to be one of the most beautiful on Skiathos... a...More

This once idyllic beach- one of the best in Skiathos has now been spoiled by an unattractive, soulless block of apartments who’s owners have infiltrated the beach with their overpriced (€35 for a bottle of wine!) and soulless decked area- taking with it the charm...More

Gorgeous beach at end of Skiathos. Now dominated by sterile resort & beach bar that is completely overpriced & selling tasteless food. Expect to pay 3-4 times the price than you would at other places & the food isn't as described on the menu. When...More

Only on foot down a new bendy road obviously built for access to the new hotel. Barrier to prevent traffic but hotel guests are ferried up and down by buggy. Beach bar very expensive and lots of wasps.

Hi, you can go around for others islands, in Skiathos there isn't so much. Beautiful in september without tourist, take a plane and go to Athene for 2 days, don't cost so much.
