I visited in February and was the only person in the cathedral which made it very peaceful. In the crypt you can have a look at the bones from St. Knuds and his brother. There is no entrance fee and the displays are mostly also...More

It's a nice church, made some nice pictures there, if you're in Odense it's worth to take a look. When we went in we were the only people in there and it was nice to see catacombs of some Danish kings. I don't know exactly...More

Entering the church was made especially nice, since it was warmer than outside. I'm not religious, yet there was a comfortable feeling, despite the violence that originated the dedication for the church. I was happy to give a donation since it helps to maintain this...More

Old and with two skeletons in the crypt. The decor or size won't awe you but the story will. Plenty of info inside. Only worth seeing if you're in Odense. On the level of Aalborg and Elsinore this is one of the least interesting cathedrals...More

It's stunning inside, and there a lot of graves of prominent people. There's many epitaph and the huge Valkendorf chapel with coffins of the Vittinghoff family.

Stunning church architecture (brickwork amazing) in the centre of this old city. Young people are the hallmark of this city & there is an young vibe reaching the Cathedral with modern sculpture and modern artworks inside & out.
