Spent a rainy morning the the Greenhouses. Great indoor option for in-climate weather. The greenhouses are large with a wide variety of well maintained and labeled ecosystems. Admission and Parking are free. A short walk to the Gamle By.

Very good indeed. Interesting, free to enter and cheap coffee ! The children were invited to feed the piranha fish in one of the ponds. The glasshouses have many different plants with helpful labels in english.

Don’t expect too much, but it’s a nice and free option to be busy for an hour or so. 10 kr for a locker to put your coat etc in, if you want to. Small cafe, where you can buy ice cream and pastries. Little...More

The gardens are beautiful and the information about the different plants is very interesting. The botanical garden is free to visit and is definitely worth a visit. I especially liked all the butterflies in the last room/greenhouse :D

The botanical gardens are a quiet and peaceful oasis in the city. We entered through the beautiful park that surrounds the greenhouses. Free entrance, smiling helpful staff, clean toilets. We really enjoyed the indoor gardens, especially the tropic gardens with butterflies swarming around us. This...More

This is located in the park beside "den gamle by". The park itself is beautiful, very hilly and the garden built in the rocks was fantastic. The green houses have different thems based on geography. The big plastic bubble is the tropics. What a great...More

The garden/park is very beautiful and is situated right next to "!Den Gamle By". Nice place for a picnic or just for a walk in the park. The greenhouses are ok, but not spectacular.

Not really. There are several things for even small kids to do and see, touch and enjoy, but no playground. On the other hand, it is very close to a park, with playgrounds.

Not sure, don't think so. There were no dogs in there while i was visiting, so at least it doesn't seem to be done. Guessing guide dogs would be the exception.
