Good fun, but more for children below 13 years of age
We visited for a day, and it was good fun. I think my teens are at the tipping point for this kind of amusement park - the best age range I would say is under 13's. The rides were good fun, and a lot of the rides were the same as Alton Towers, just a different name. Flying Eagle, The Temple, extreme racers, Ghost House - then think, Runaway Mine train, Duel, spinball and Hex.. Good fun, but take a picnic - the food areas take ages to serve and there aren't many of them. Glad we went, but I don't think we will revisit.

Great place for all Lego enthusiasts
Great place for kids and grown-ups. Lots of Lego to see and rides to try. Queues weren’t bad for July. Food was great and facilities good. Have been a few times, and would say it’s most exciting for children aged 6-12.

    Legoland in a weekend
Me and my Friends went to Denmark for a short weekend away to see the home of Lego, we flew early Saturday morning and left late Sunday Night this worked out great as the airport is right next to Legoland - we had a very enjoyable day with good thrill rides and attractions for all ages! As well as the rides and attractions there’s an extremely big Lego model village and Lego store which kept us occupied for hours! The only downside to this experience is the long que times for the rides and the stall market games. Unfortunately we fell into the trap of trying to win a big prize from a ball throwing game and kept buying more balls to try and win the prize of a Lego shark, we where told you can not buy these anywhere else in Legoland or in the store but it turns out that you can buy them on the Lego website or in one of the many Lego stores around the sight albeit a slightly smaller version! Overall a very good weekend away with my friends and would recommend to family’s and Lego lovers!

    Queue for everything
We went in the July and while on the whole the rides were good, it was far too crowded. We aimed to be there for when the park opened but we ended up stuck in traffic and queued in the car for about 30 minutes, and when we did get in the park it was busy but OK. Later by mid-afternoon there were long queues for not just the rides, but the toilets and the food concessions. Highlights * The rides we got on were good * The app gives a good estimate of queue length for the rides * The lego models were as ever amazing. Lowlights * Queues for everything

Queues everywhere, but you can pay to pass
If you get the express pass, this place is great. We had the “reserve and ride” for one day which meant we didn’t have to stand in queues waiting for rides. This was indeed a must have. For the second day we didn’t have this and had only about 30 minutes to ride just at the opening before lines turned veeeery long. The food is of course subpar and insanely priced, but hey, isn’t that expected? People everywhere. Queues everywhere. But the kids still loved it and wants to go back. If you can, go outside or summer vacation (don’t go in July) If you want to us the rides, pay up for the express pass If you don’t get the pass: run towards polar land at 10:00 and go through the rides immediately. At 11:00 the lines will be 60 mins for most rides.

    More relaxed Legoland
This was our second trip to a Legoland after visiting Windsor last year and I found Billund more of a comfortable experience. It's nowhere near as big as Windsor, but that makes it everything more accessible. Our son isn't big enough for all the rides yet, so a return trip maybe on the cards when he is bigger. On the downside, the entrance gates could be alittle more organised when they first open at 10am. The shopping was disappointing as well, not everything was stocked in store and clothing wasn't great either (certainly a lack of sizes for 5 year olds - which must be the most popular size).

    Fantastic experience
We had a wonderful 3 days in the park and loved every minute! A great selection of rides for all ages and good offers on food and drinks with season pass. Staff were all fantastic and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Waited no more than 30-40 minutes for bigger rides and usually around 10 minutes. Queues great with Lego and Duplo to play with for children to keep them entertained.

    Beyond Excellent
Stayed at Legoland Castle Hotel superior knight’s room. Well worth it and the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet anywhere. Buffet excellent for dinner and breskfast. A second or third toaster would be the only improvement i can think of.

    England day trip
Great day out, we went as an older family, youngest being 16yrs old, but still had an amazing time. We flew from England, got a taxi from the airport which cost around £15 but quick and easy. It took awhile to get into the park due to the queues about 20mins. Once in the queues for rides weren't to bad, nothing compared to Windsor queues, and the time signs were about right. We still had a full day even as we didn't go on alot of the smaller rides, do as Legoland said recommended 1-2days. I really liked that the restaurant and shops stayed open passed the rides closing, when we were there rides closed at 6pm, restaurant kitchens closed at 7.30pm and park and shops closed at 8pm. Highly recommend the photo pass, so easy to upload the photo number yourself. And the app offered a return within 6 days for 99ddk. We walked back to the airport after leaving, really easy walk for about 25mins. A long but well worth it day.

    Great time
It's Legoland. Of the theme parks we go to it's the most well run smooth experience. We prefer visiting as late as possible in August as the Scandinavian families with kids seem to prefer going in late June and July with predictable results on queues. We visited on a windy day (wind gusts up to gale force) with a a bit of light showers. This still worked well for us. After showers the staff dried off surfaces and everything was very hospitable.

This was our 4th stay and I do recommend Legoland. So this is just an annoyed comment on our last stay.

There was good handling of Covid in the park, but no place to eat either in the park or at the hotel.

The restaurant was fully booked the whole evening We ended up eating a sandwich in the bar. For breakfast we stood in line for 20 minutes and were kicked out after less than 40 minutes.

I contacted the hotel afterwards, and just got a sorry - but we are not going to do anything about it. Legoland is not cheap, so I was quite dissapointed in the service.

We booked advanced tickets as advised by Legoland Billund (park tickets and the restaurant) for a much anticipated August holiday. This was under the guidance that we could enter Denmark if vaccinated. Sadly, the rules changed 10 days ago which forced us to cancel our trip.

Legoland refuse to issue a refund and very generously suggested we come back in 2021. What a great suggestion Legoland Billund. You shut over the winter and it’s not like we can just jump on a plane whenever for a day-trip to Denmark!

Shame on you.

The big kid in me has always wanted to experience the real Legoland so we decided to skip on the English/Windsor version and take a trip over to Denmark with our toddler to experience the home of the brick and I was not disappointed.

By far the thing I found most impressive about the park was the variety of rides and activities they've packed into this space which I hear is much smaller than its version at Windsor. I fully expected the park to focus on catering for children but there were plenty of great thrill rides to keep grown adults entertained as well. Admittedly, I was a bit worried about taking a 2 year old with me as I thought there might not be enough there to keep her entertained throughout the day or rides she was old enough to go on. I was certainly wrong and she enjoyed a mixture of water rides, trains, monorails, safari jeeps and duplo activity stations that kept her and us busy all day.

I was extremely impressed by the queue lengths for rides. I've had terrible experiences in theme parks in the U.K, sometimes waiting up to 2 hours for rides at places like Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. The longest I had to wait to get on a ride here was for the flying eagle rollercoaster which was roughly half an hour. All other rides we were able to get on within a maximum of 10-15 minutes. Some of the rides also had lego stations in the queues to keep children entertained which I thought was a nice touch.

Even the rain which came in the afternoon did not manage to stop our enjoyment of the park with plenty of indoor attractions including the sealife atlantis and duploland that were a welcomed break from the downpours. Staff were all very friendly and particularly helpful when we had an issue almost immediately with using the lockers which rely on you to pay online. For some reason ours didn't open however, a supervisor was on hand and quickly resolved this for us.

The only painful bit of the day was the expense. If you're expecting a cheap day at the Billund park then prepare to be stung. Denmark as a country is expensive even on top of this cost of living crisis we're living through. But if you're used to going to theme parks then you should expect prices for food, drink and souvenirs to be fairly close to the extortionate fees you'll already have become accustomed to paying.

On the whole though, a thoroughly enjoyable day out. I'm keen to take my family to the Windsor park next but I expect this could quite easily end up being my favourite Legoland park!

First of all. It’s a great trip to visit Legoland, for small and big. However, at this time most food places are close so the lines to get lunch are ridicules. We have to wait more than 30 min to get some fries and a drink. Amateurs ! Due to Convid 19 some of the rides are closed and other are open periodically and most with limited capacity, but that does not stop LEGO to charges full entrance fee.
On a more positive note, not many visitors so the place was not crowed at this time.

We have been there today again after previous visits in the last few years.
The original part right at the main entrance is still great we still love to look at all the miniatures. The rides, lunches, coffees and basically everything else required long waiting times. We spent most of our time waiting for something. Yes, that is expected to a certain degree, and yes, all theme parks suffer from this, but we will definitely reconsider next time if we will go again. These parks need a new concept to make the money worthwhile again.
We were also shocked that apparently nobody cared about social distancing and nobody wore a mask in Covid 19 times!
Being a mixed international family living in Germany at the moment, we believe that was not acceptable. So during COVID times, may be not a good choice

We had a brilliant day at Legoland Billund and would certainly recommend it to anyone with young children. What sets it apart from Legoland UK (which had a few identical rides) is that staff, who work really hard to ensure everyone is having fun. They laugh and joke with children in the queues, wave at them when on the rides, chat to them in the cafes - it’s really lovely.

Our youngest is under 130cm and was disappointed to not be able to go on a lot of rides, but there was still plenty for her to do. It was raining heavily when we arrived but we paid a small fortune for ponchos and it actually meant the park was pretty quiet and the queues were fairly short. Most of the morning we didn’t queue at all and we only had a couple of long time queues for the bigger rides in the early afternoon. We were here 10-6 and completely exhausted & didn’t manage to get to every ride.

It is as expensive as everyone says for food and drink, but there are many picnic areas so you can bring your own. We chose not to because we thought we’d want somewhere to dry off. The food was fine. Denmark is very expensive for eating out anyway.

Decided to visit Legoland Billund today 4th August 2020, just as we did in 2019. Then, it was a great experience (we went after the Danish holiday season) but today was.... terrible. Arrived at 09:45 the park was already open and busy. We first went to the Eagle coaster. Waiting line was approx. 20 minutes so for us: ok. After this ride, the park was CROWDED so much, we couldn’t go anywhere without waiting at least 30 mins for mini rides, and 50/60 mins for a rollercoaster or water attraction. Nobody (talking about the visitors) here seems to care about Covid19, they bump into you and stand really close in line, block paths with strollers...Annoying! At lunch time, we wanted to grab a bite. No way... everywhere, at least 45 mins waiting time. Even at the hotdog stand. (Don’t even start about food and drink prices) So we decided to leave the park really early. Did 2 attractions. I might as well just throw my money in the bin instead of visiting Legoland in July or August. On top of it all, it just felt unsafe, so many people crammed together in a park like this! Will never visit again in summer holiday season.

We we are a family of 4 coming from Copenhagen to visit Legoland and we are very disappointed with the lack of information we receive before booking this trip.
We booked a two day trip with you on the seventh and eighth of May an upon arriving we noticed that all the interior all the indoor activities at closed.
this is quite disappointing because these are the favorite activities of our kids ( 5 and 8) we understand there are Covid restrictions but you should have clearly stated on your website when you put on your website so we can take an informed decision .
I called customer service and they mention that this is detailed on the Danish websites but it is not detail on the English one under covid restrictions.
To know about it I will have to check each one of the rides and the check if all of them are applicable . There is nowhere written i”all indoors activities are closed or check the rides availability...it is just not fair !

I was very disappointed to see that Corona situation does not affect this facility! No masks no measures, many people gathered in small indoor places without any protection and no safety distances!
As a park, we really enjoyed all the games and activities. It was a unique experience. We would like to have a second visit, because the time was limited and we did not try everthing.
It is a very nice experience for children and adults. The toilets are very clean as well as all other commonly used facilities.
Very baby friendly also. There are outdoor specific smoking areas, so as all other areas are smoke free.
Even though there was a lot of people, waiting for the games and activities was not very high.
We enjoyed every minute!
After corona, we would definitely recommend that every family should visit Legoland at least for one or preferably for two days!
Check the weather before scheduling your visit.

Great place to have fun. Overall a nice experience with the family.
I was amazed that close to the entrance, there is this big restaurant, advertized on their website as well, and the food was terrible.

For such a huge investment, and such a great reputation, I feel like Legoland should not host such rip off restaurants like that Family Buffet. I went there with my kid, ordeted a pizza for him, and he was offered a micro waved pizza, for 15 euros, that looked disgusting and tasted even worse. After 2 bites, we had to leave and eat a hot dog. It is a shame that Legoland let's a so called restaurant, rip off it's clients. Dissapointing..

Thanks a lot for the review. We appreciate. I am sorry you did not had the experience you expected in the Family buffet. I will make sure the restaurant manager gets your comments as well. Take care and stay safe. We hope to see you another time. Peter, LEGOLAND
