We visited Tivoli Gardens and was surprised at how vast it was. This is no ordinary gardens- it’s more of a theme park. There are some great rides - albeit the rollercoasters are quite tame. The Golden Tower is fab tho. The ground are stunning...More

Visited with a 4 and 11 year old. Had a lovely time. Started gently around the lake and the children's play ground. The ducklings and the young peacocks were a great hit. The children's play ground with the boat was a massive hit with the...More

To be honest, we almost didn't go into Tivoli because of the price. Not only is the entry fee a lot, but that includes nothing else- not a single ride, so you have to buy tickets. As such, if you want to go on even...More

From the fun mirrors lining the entrance to the bumper cars, this is a place that takes you to 1950's childhood. But the lush gardens and the multiple beer opportunities also have an adult appeal. It's enjoyed by locals and tourists, so indulge yourself and...More

Tivoli Gardens are a premium attraction in this family-friendly city. I expected it to be corny and dated, but our crew found it to be a fun loving location on an autumn evening. The lines for the rides were all but non existent - perhaps...More

Truly a special place in the world. Truly magical without any brassiness. In the afternoon we found an interesting mix of older Danish people reminiscing on their childhood with many young children. A wonderful place to walk through and enjoy with or without rides.

I think it will be different if I went there with my children, because me and my husband did not enjoy it as much as described by others. The green area is so small, it is all about rides. Not for people who come to...More

Lovely, lovely place with attractions that many theme parks can only dream about. Tivoli has beautiful gardens with a lot of attention to detail. This is NOT a tatty fairground, but a beautiful and almost tranquil place. Certainly worth a visit, even if you just...More

When planning our trip I wasn't sure how long to plan to spend at Tivoli to see everything and enjoy the rides, but just late afternoon to evening was enough for us. It was definitely worth it to see the light show at night which...More

just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours,
or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15
minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the

In planning our trip, I found their website quite thorough and informative. A helpful hint: to watch the laser show stand on the bridge closest to the pagoda and face back toward the pond. The show is incredible. Enjoy!
