A lively and beautiful collection of shops and bars, cafes, restaurants along 5 streets that meet. There are musicians and other performers. These are pedestrian streets and are well maintained. Clean public bathrooms available underground

Works well as a walking street, lots to see from stall food vendors to upmarket labels and shops. The curved streets meant we took a couple of wrong turns and had trouble getting back to our hotel. Just meant we saw more, cobbles hard on...More

This is one of the top attractions starting at the city hall square and then arching towards Nyhavn where you can take a sightseeing trip on boat, it has plenty of stores to attract your attention, restaurants and coffee shops are abundant, and both locals...More

It would be hard to visit Copenhagen without stumbling upon the Stroeget - lined with shops, restaurants and ice cream parlors, it's one of the main tourist spots in the city. Yes, it is a bit crowded, however it's great because it is just a...More

Loved walking through Stroget, there is a mix of American stores like hilfiger, 7 eleven, h&m, coach, bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants, and some flea market stalls. Did not buy anything but had a great time browsing.

We strolled along Stroget and focussed on design which was interesting. Of course you also find all the brands you'd find anywhere else.

I wrote once it was the longest pedestrian street in the world. I don't know if it's still the case, but it's definitely worth walking it. You get a sense of the charming Danish way of life while doing so. It takes you to the...More

This is a great pedestrian shopping street. It is full off major midrange and high end brands. The cafes are great to sit and people watch or even sit and eat of course. The street performers are really talented.

A lot of fancy stores mixed with tourist trap stores, and too many people! There are many other nice places to walk around in, e.g. around Torvehallerne, on Fiolstraede, in Frederiksberg, etc, wich are not so crowded but still have many nice shops. Keep a...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
