This is a lovely example of a limestone (not marble) Rococo church built in the 19th century (completed in 1894). The original plan was to build it in marble but the cost was prohibitive so they used limestone instead and made a lovely job of it. The highlight is the interior…

Marmorkirken is like a smaller version of Sankt Peters Church in Rom. It is the the middel of Copenhagen just next to the Royal Palace, the Waterfront and Down town Copenhagen. Go inside , it’s Opel and some times you Can even go to the top with a fantastic view over copenhagen

We spent quite some time in here soaking up the ambiance and the beautiful interior. It provided a time for quiet reflection and with a candle lit memories of departed family members. A special Church to spend time in.
